The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with daily administrative functions to support the Human Resources Department of Viaero Wireless Technologies, Inc. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, assisting with new employee onboarding and orientation, maintenance/organization of confidential employee records. This person works onsite at our HR and Recruiting Center located in Fort Morgan, Colorado.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Administer Employee Phone Program including Employee Purchase Program
  • Assist with all pre-hire checks (E-Verify, I-9s, pre-employment drug screens, criminal background checks, licenses/certifications)
  • Assist in processing and necessary materials/office set-up for new hires and take primary responsibility for the same tasks for temp employees/contractors
  • Conduct or help with new employee orientation
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, files, and electronic files
  • Assist in audits and reconciliation of employee benefits
  • Maintain employee personnel files to required standards
  • Assist with the maintenance and up-date of selected HR databases and tools
  • Assist with the development and production of designated queries, surveys, data collection and reports with selected HR reporting tools
  • Participate in selected HR projects
  • Perform mailing, faxing, copying and other clerical activities

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass pre-employment checks that include criminal background, MVR check and drug screening
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Strong technical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred:

  • Associate degree
  • One or more years of experience in human resources, training, and/organizational development setting
  • Business and/or technical writing experience
  • Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish and English)
  • Accounting or analysis experience
  • Experience with HR applicant tracking systems, information systems and payroll systems
