Maintenance Operations Manager- Landscape Construction

Pierre Landscape is looking for a Maintenance Operations Manager. This position is responsible for leading the implementation, management, and compliance of the company’s field operations related to Safety, Training, and Quality and Maintenance Division.  

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing Best Practices of the field installation
  • Continued solicitation of the field and admin team members on improving best practices / operations 
  • Oversee and work with crew leaders to onboard and train new field staff
  • Document field productivity and efficiency by tracking production rates (budget vs actual)
  • Ensure all training material is accurate and up to date according to company guidelines.
  • Visits job sites to connect with the crews & educate yourself on field operations & logistics
  • Ensure all quality control inspections / compliance measures are being done daily (accurate and thoroughly) and share the results of those inspections with the management team.
  • Ensure compliance in regard to departmental operational processes & procedures
  • Performs continued assessments of department processes & procedures & updates them as needed
  • Provides leadership to the entire department in supporting them to meet their goals and vital factors
  • Ensure all information from field is being shared & communicated to the proper departments
  • Supervise, organize and direct maintenance of all jobsite areas within the various jobsite scopes and according to the technical specifications of the jobsites.
  • Supervise the operation, maintenance and repair of completed installation projects, in order to meet design specifications.
  • Facilitate the start of maintenance and the end of Post install maintenance by fulfilling specification requirements.
  • Conduct all necessary trainings (i.e. irrigation controller, irrigation system, plant needs) as outlined in the contract.
  • Mitigate potential company financial exposure in warranty claims submitted by closed out accounts and bring resolution to the accepted claims.  
  • Supervise Foremen on their duties and responsibilities to meet or exceed customer’s expectations.
  • Protect the company’s interest through an awareness of and compliance with all applicable regulations including company policies. Fulfill administrative duties timely.
  • Represent Pierre Landscape in a positive and professional manner including attitude, appearance, and public relations.
  • Have a valid California Driver License and Clean Driving Record
  • Ability to follow all traffic laws and safety driving practices
  • Ability to research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays using navigation applications to determine the most efficient route
