Accountant - Entry Level

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Entry Level Accountant in Irwindale, California, United States. The successful candidate will be joining our team, where they will take on important responsibilities within the accounting functions of our organization. Responsibilities: - Accurately match invoices to purchase orders. - Gain proficiency in using SAP for various accounting tasks. - Perform data entry tasks with precision and efficiency. - Provide backup for other team members in their absence, taking on responsibilities such as daily billing of shipments, reconciling credit card payments, and processing accounts payable invoices. - Review customer accounts regularly to identify and take action on past due invoices. - Assist other team members as needed during peak seasons. - Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and improve accounting processes. - Conduct regular account analysis and reconciliation. - Utilize skills in ERP solutions and Adobe Acrobat for various accounting functions. - Work on account coding and accounting entries as part of routine tasks. Requirements - Possess a strong understanding of Accounting Software Systems. - Proficient in utilizing ERP Solutions for financial management. - Experience with Account Analysis and Accounting Entries. - Familiarity with Accounting Functions such as Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable. - Proficiency in using Adobe Acrobat for document management. - Knowledge of SAP for enterprise resource planning. - Ability to conduct Account Coding accurately and efficiently. - Understanding of financial regulations and standards. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
