Position Overview:  
The Inventory and Fulfillment Agent is responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure operational excellence, provide exceptional customer service, contribute to financial goals, and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence
  • Inventory Management:
    • Accurately track and manage all cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory levels and reconcile any discrepancies.
    • Collaborate with purchasing and receiving teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and manage product rotation.
    • Process shipments according
  • Order Fulfillment:
    • Process and fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with customer service teams to address and resolve any order-related issues or discrepancies.
    • Maintain a clean and organized fulfillment area to ensure smooth operations and efficiency.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Utilize inventory management systems to generate reports and analyze data trends.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Attendance:
    • Maintain punctuality and reliability by adhering to scheduled shifts and fulfilling duties consistently.
    • Notify management in advance of any anticipated absences or schedule conflicts.
  • Product Intake:
    • Handle and store products according to safety and compliance standards.
    • Coordinate with Inventory Manager to complete an update of stock levels.
    • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
    • Ensure all shipments adhere to local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Maintain records and documentation for audits and inspections.
    • Report any compliance issues to management promptly.
    • Perform regular audits of stock to ensure accuracy.
    • Identify, report and resolve any inventory discrepancies.
    • Complete the entire process of receiving and processing truck deliveries.
    • Ensure efficient and timely processing of shipments.
    • Ensure compliance with local and state regulations for intake of cannabis products.
    • Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
Customer Experience
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all products are fresh, safe, and meet customer expectations through stringent quality control measures.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer preferences and trends, ensuring the inventory reflects the needs and desires of the clientele.
  • Customer Support:
    • Assist customer service teams in addressing inventory-related inquiries and concerns.
    • Provide accurate information about product availability and expected delivery times to enhance the customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the latest cannabis products, strains, and industry trends to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers and staff.
    • Create info cards for the company’s website when new products come in
Finance and Market Share
  • Revenue Enhancement:
    • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue and meet financial targets.
Safety and Compliance
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure strict adherence to all state and local regulations governing the sale and distribution of cannabis products.
    • Maintain meticulous records of all inventory movements and sales transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Safety Protocols:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment for customers and staff, including emergency procedures and incident reporting.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on compliance, safety, and security procedures to ensure full compliance with all regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Regularly review and update compliance policies and procedures to stay current with changing regulations and industry best practices.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory management or order fulfillment, preferably in the cannabis industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Notes:  
The job requires physical activity, including prolonged standing, repetitive bending, walking, and lifting or moving up to 40 pounds (or more with a co-worker). Good visual acuity, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and ability to perform repetitive motions with accuracy is required. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

This job requires completion of an Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR) background check and badging process. You must have a valid state-issued ID and social security card to submit to the IDFPR's process.
