Nursing Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential patient care and support under the supervision of registered nurses. Your primary goal will be to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and helping with medical procedures.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent * Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred * Proven experience working as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role * Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion * Physical stamina to lift and move patients, as required

Responsibilities:

* Assist registered nurses in providing quality patient care * Help patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating * Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure * Assist with measuring and recording patients' intake and output * Collect samples for laboratory testing and assist with documentation * Ensure patients' rooms are clean, safe, and adequately stocked * Respond to patients' call lights and requests in a timely manner * Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families * Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care outcomes * Follow all safety and infection control protocols * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
