- Observe safety rules and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
- Complete responsibility for the packaging, warehousing, and shipping of product.
- Unloading and storage of raw materials.
- Accurate completion of shipping documents.
- Assist other operators with plant tasks as needed.
- Expected to fully communicate between shifts and other Company personnel.
- Monitor and maintain all equipment and controls, requesting maintenance assistance as needed.
- Keep all work areas neat and orderly.
- Keep proper inventory of finished product and packaging supplies on hand.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Training :
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow procedures and instructions
- Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and effective oral and written skills.
- Valid state issued driver’s license
- 3 – 5 years prior employment in a high volume manufacturing environment
- Must have good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to push, pull and/or lift 50 pounds repetitively, climb ladders and work on platforms
- Fork lift experience preferred.
Education (minimum requirements/equivalent):
- High School Diploma or GED
