Software Developer - Filemaker Pro

EQS, Inc is Looking for a Software Developer with Filemaker Pro experience.<br><br>We're an electrical contracting company specializing in niche, complicated systems for military and industrial clients. <br><br>Job Description -<br><br>As a Software Developer you will be creating and supporting a proprietary solution that our company will utilize for full-scope tracking of everything that relates to our work. Our existing solution has been created in Filemaker and we are flexible on whether or not we overhaul our current one or start rebuilding from a new foundation.<br><br>Once this solution is built you will continue to support the solution by continued development of product enhancements, addressing bugs, developing quality assurance procedures, providing feedback to create a more efficient app, and integrating the app with other products such as Quickbooks and Google Workspace.<br><br>Responsibilities -<br><br><ul><li>Is responsible for the development, layout, coding, maintenance, back-end infrastructure and support of our application to meet the needs of internal and external users.</li><li>Research and understand the application of emerging design patterns and technology as it applies to the project.</li><li>Collaborate with the Designer and Product Manager to complete the project from start to ship and beyond, with developers and customer service personnel added to the team as needed.</li><li>Develop quality assurance procedures and participate in the testing of the software to ensure the application is functioning as expected.</li><li>Maintain documentation of system architecture, configuration, and application support.</li></ul><br><strong>Qualifications -</strong><br><br><strong>We're far more interested in your work ethic and ability rather than a long list of history on your resume. Here are the things that are non-negotiable:</strong><br><br><ul><li>2+ yrs experience programming in Filemaker Pro</li><li>Hands-on experience with FileMaker Server</li><li>Experience with FileMaker Go</li><li>Experience in building programs from user interface designs and be able to deploy applications in a cross-platform/cross-browser environment</li><li>Excellent time management skills</li><li>Organized work</li><li>Flexible and comfortable in changing priorities</li><li>Interest in working in a team and independently to architect an enterprise-level system</li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with internal coworkers and customers and receive feedback</li><li>Ability to work on location in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. There is flexibility with this position but you'll need to be in close contact with our Designer and Product Manager</li><li>Must be a US Citizen or legally eligible to work in the US without requiring sponsorship</li></ul><br>Preferred -<br><ul><li>High School Diploma and/or College equivalent experience</li></ul><br><strong>EQS, Inc Culture -</strong><br><br><strong>You will be working in an energetic and evolving environment.
