EV Equipment Operator - 1st Shift - Tecumseh, NE

<b>Job Details:</b> <br> <br> <b>Hours: </b>5:55 am - end of production or upon completion of assigned work.<br> <br> <b>SUMMARY</b>: The EV Machine Operator will be directly responsible for the operation of one line in EV to ensure that adjustments made to the Oil Sac Cutter, Venter, Opener, and Maestro meet contamination standards. Secondary responsibility will be to cover the other EV line when the operator is not present. The operator will be responsible for auditing the above mentioned equipment and making adjustments to correct issues seen. <br> <br> <b>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Walk the lines as birds arrive ensuring that all machines from Rehanger to last Circlean have proper infeed. Operators will rotate on this walk through.<ul> <li>Audit conditionals to determine effectiveness of equipment and make adjustments to correct discrepancies.</li></ul></li> <li>Audit Oil Sac Cutter to determine effectiveness of equipment and make adjustments to correct discrepancies.</li> <li>Audit Venter to determine effectiveness of equipment and make adjustments to correct discrepancies Communicate with Maintenance on equipment issues</li> <li>Audit Opener to determine effectiveness of equipment and make adjustments to correct discrepancies Audit inefficiencies</li> <li>Audit Maestro to determine effectiveness of equipment and make adjustments to correct discrepancies Monitor flow within the EV area </li> <li>Communicate all adjustments to the control room</li> <li>Work with Maintenance personnel on issues when adjustments do not seem effective</li> <li>Communicate with EV lead and Washout personnel to determine needs for adjustments</li> <li>All other essential duties as directed by the Production Manager</li></ul> <br> <b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Excellent attention to detail</li> <li>Must be able to comprehend machine adjustments</li> <li>Ability to pass a comprehensive training period</li> <li>Ability to work overtime as required</li></ul> <br> <b> Education and/or Experience:</b> <br> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li></ul> <br> <b>Communication Skills:</b> <br> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.</li></ul> <br> <b>Physical Requirements / Environment: </b> <br> <ul> <li>Stand/Walk: Continuously 8 or more hours</li> <li>Lift/Carry: Continuously (1- 42 lbs.)</li> <li>Simple/Firm Grasping: Frequently</li> <li>Other Physical Requirements:<ul> <li>Bend/stoop, squat, reach above shoulder (up to 1 ft.): Occasional</li></ul></li> <li>Environment: Continuously - Working around moving machinery</li></ul> <br>Rehire Consideration:<ul> <li>Max of two (2) previous Tyson employments. </li> <li>90 days (3 months) waiting period. </li></ul> <br>Requirements: 6-month Production experience listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months). <br> <br> <b>Relocation Assistance Eligible:</b> <br>No<br> <br> <b>Work Shift: </b> <br> <br>1ST SHIFT (United States of America)<br> <br>Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.<br> <br>Tyson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
