The candidate's primary responsibilities will include a component of pilot-scale DSP operations execution, DSP data acquisition and modeling, and optimizing the process steps to be representative of the target process scale to ensure right first time technical transfers.<br> <br>This will include:<br> <ul> <li>Pilot-scale and occasional laboratory work with chromatographic purification and several types of filtration systems</li> <li>Record and analyze data, verify data integrity and accuracy, and report/summarize findings to the project development teams</li> <li>Design experiments to optimize DSP operations within the Large-Scale Development & Operations DSP group to ensure that they are representative of internal and external manufacturing sites</li> <li>Draft technical documents, SOPs, and work instructions</li> <li>Work in a team environment as well as contributing individually to meet project timelines and objectives</li></ul> <br> <b>Qualifications</b> <br> <ul> <li>Minimum of BS in scientific related discipline is required.</li> <li>Knowledge of and hands-on experience with DSP purification (chromatography, filtration) of protein therapeutics (such as antibodies) is required.</li> <li>Experience with scale-up/down of DSP, and/or execution at pilot or manufacturing scales for biologics manufacture is preferred.</li> <li>Exposure to analytical method development for in-process methods is preferred.</li> <li>The candidate must be highly organized and capable of managing/pursuing multiple projects with some supervision.</li> <li>Experience maintaining written records of work in the form of (electronic) notebooks, technical reports and protocols is preferred.</li> <li>Data reporting, ability to present findings to management, and experience with team-based collaborations is required.</li></ul> <br> <b>Additional Information</b> <br> <br> <strong>Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
