Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products, as well as providing innovative clinical diagnostic testing services, as one of the leading global emerging players in specialised clinical diagnostics testing. </strong> <br> <br> <strong>In 2019, Eurofins generated</strong> <strong>total revenues of EUR &euro; 4.56 billion, and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years. </strong> <br> <br> <b>Job Description</b> <br> <ul> <li>Lead and perform downstream process development for large molecule based products such as gene therapy and vaccines within the API-Large Molecule group</li> <li>Conduct cell culture/5L bioreactor experiments andpurification experiments for cell gene therapy</li> <li>Leading and participating in design of experiments</li> <li>Executing the planned experiments</li> <li>Optimizing purification process steps</li> <li>Data analysis for early and late stage products</li> <li>Lead design and execution of the development studies to identify and determine process parameter ranges for purification process steps.</li> <li>Take a lead role to transfer process from development to GMP clinical and commercial manufacturing.</li> <li>Record and analyze experimental data</li> <li>Verify data integrity and accuracy</li> <li>Report/summarize findings to the project team</li> <li>Write technical documents.</li></ul> <br> <b>Qualifications</b> <br> <ul> <li>Experience supporting downstream process development for AAV production</li> <li>Perform general laboratory tasks related to aseptic manipulation processes and pipettes</li> <li>Perform aseptic cell culture and support vector generation activities, including cell passaging, transfection/infection and harvesting</li> <li>Keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.</li> <li>At least a bachelors degree in a scientific concentration such as Chemistry, Biochemistry and/or Biotechnology</li></ul> <br> <b>Additional Information</b> <br> <br>Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm.
