<strong>Database Analyst </strong><br><br><strong>Located in Plainsboro, NJ</strong><br><br><strong>Pay rate $45.00 per hour</strong><br><br><strong>Description:</strong><br><br>Schedule Hybrid (3 days per week in-office)<br><br>SCHEDULE: 8:00 to 4:00, or 9:00 to 5:00<br><br><strong>TOP THREE MUST HAVES:</strong><br><br>1. Ability to work independently with high quality production<br><br><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong><br><br>Responsible for overall support of the company data strategy office including but not limited documentation, quality control, analytical support and development.<br><br>1. Responsible for quality control and standards development in company Data Office<br><br>2. Assess, prioritize, and document functional requirements.<br><br>3. Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support business decisions<br><br><strong>Main job tasks:</strong><br><ul><li>Drive Data Governance & Data Enablement</li><li>Quality control to support analytics and reporting</li><li>Develop understanding of key business questions to be answered in each project</li><li>Leverage analytical skills to collect, clean, quality control, integrate and analyze data - including sales, marketing & cost data</li><li>Ensure project documentation is maintained; all governance policies and procedures are followed. Support creation of new data governance policies.</li><li>Develop and present recommendations to key stakeholders</li><li>Be a trusted advisor for the analysis methodology</li><li>Develop custom analysis with Tableau, Advanced Excel, SAS, PowerPoint, Access; SQL</li><li>Help build a center of excellence for creating analytically ready data sets, for use among analytics community.</li><li>Ensure detailed data quality checks are performed on an ongoing basis to ensure analytical readiness</li><li>Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements & Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.</li><li>Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases & provide guidance and support on the data set, identify areas requiring process improvements to standardize data governance.</li><li>Deliver ad-hoc analyses to support decision making</li><li>Aware of persistency and adherence metrics, knowledge of analytics on de-identified patient level data.</li><li>Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high end quality support to the stakeholders</li><li>Collaborate closely with stakeholders to look at feedback and development opportunities</li></ul><br><strong>Knowledge, skills and experience:</strong><br><br><strong>Education:</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelors Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) preferred, solid relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements if appropriate.</li></ul><br><strong>Experience:</strong><br><ul><li>3-5 years of experience working with data in the commercial domain, experience in pharmaceutical industry is preferred.</li><li>Experience managing stakeholders to drive projects forward</li><li>Strategic and analytical capabilities, with experience in analyzing complex situations, collecting data and effectively synthesizing insights</li><li>Project management and relationship building skills to overcome complex and multidimensional business challenges</li></ul><br><strong>Technical skills -</strong><br><ul><li>Tableau</li><li>Advanced Excel,</li><li>Alteryx a plus</li><li>Experience in SQL and complex Query</li><li>Working level knowledge of SAS a plus</li></ul><br><strong>Personal skills:</strong><br><ul><li>Ability to think strategically and look beyond the data, data storytelling</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>High motivation and proactivity</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li><li>Attention to detail and focus on quality</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong working relationships and effectively influence stakeholders across all levels of the business</li><li>High degree of flexibility, as the nature & timing of assignments change according to business requirements</li></ul>
