The $15 million Duffy Health Center on Cape Cod, MA is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that offers an interdisciplinary, holistic model of care that seeks to address underlying causes of homelessness. Services include primary medical care, mental health and substance use disorder counseling and case management to those most challenged to find and maintain housing. Services are offered at Duffy's main location at 94 Main Street in Hyannis, MA, on the mobile REACH van, and at various outreach sites in the community.<br><br>Duffy Health Center is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will assume the role of overseeing and leading financial management operations for the organization.<br><br>Duffy Health Center operates as a patient-focused healthcare institution where each role plays a vital part in the success of the team-based approach. The CFO's responsibilities encompass overseeing Accounting, Billing, Benefits, Scheduling, and Reception operations. This entails acting as a crucial leadership team member, supervising personnel, formulating departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and reporting mandates, assessing program effectiveness, and undertaking administrative tasks. Furthermore, the CFO is entrusted with establishing short- and long-term plans and goals, defining individual performance benchmarks, and directly assuming responsibility for departmental outcomes. Collaborating closely with senior executives, the CFO also engages in monitoring and enhancing productivity and reimbursement processes.<br><br>Reporting to the CEO and operating in accordance with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as the established policies and goals of Duffy Health Center, the CFO should possess a comprehensive foundation in accounting and finance within a non-profit context, preferably within the healthcare sector or a similar organization such as an FQHC. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is mandatory, while a Master's degree is considered highly desirable.
