Shenandoah Community Health (SCH) is recruiting an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our multi-disciplinary team in Martinsburg, WV. This is an outpatient position providing gyn, prenatal, and postpartum care . The ideal candidate would have both gyn and obstetrics experience. The Women’s Health Department is currently a full scope integrated practice with a fun energetic staff that includes 3 Certified Nurse Midwives, 1 Physician Assistant, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 sonographer and strong support staff.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain active registered nurse and midwifery license as well as DEA certification.
  • Comply with American Midwifery Certification Board (ACMB) CME requirements for midwifery certification and state CEU requirements for registered nursing licensure.
  • Develop and participate in community, staff, and patient education.
  • Assist in quality assurance programs for SCH and Shenandoah Women’s Health.

Qualifications & Education Requirements (add Licensure on pertinent jobs) :

  • Graduate of School of Midwifery accredited by ACNM.
  • Certification in Midwifery from the ACMB.
  • Unrestricted RN and CNM license in West Virginia.
  • Maintain BLS certification and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation) certification.
