Responsibilities
  • Works closely with patients and provides them with basic, immediate care and comfort needs such as obtaining vitals (i.e. temperature, blood pressure, heart, and respiratory rate.
  • Cleaning and changing bedsheets, bathing, dressing, and toileting patients.
  • Building true emotional connections with patients.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Successful completion and documentation of one of the following:
    • Certified Nursing Assistant listed as either active or inactive on any state health care worker registry.
    • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and waiting for NCLEX reexamination.
    • EMT-B or MA
    • EMR
    • Must be enrolled in Trinity’s PCT on the job training program and successfully complete.
    • Successful completion of first semester of nursing school that includens Nursing Fundamentals.
