This company has opportunities for advancement and the Assistant Project Manager is a great way to get in and grow your career.<br> <br> <strong>What's in it for you? </strong> <br> <br>Direct hire opportunity<br> <br>90-100K a year<br> <br>Medical, Dental, Vision<br> <br>Amazing time off plan including vacation, holidays and sick time.<br> <br>401K with Match<br> <br> <strong>What will you be doing? </strong> <br> <br>Detailers are responsible for making detailed drawings of all building components and assemblies based on building contract documentation, being consistent with manufacturing requirements<br> <br>Produce customer drawings: anchor bolt plans, anchor bolt reactions, framing and sheeting plans, shop fabrication drawings (standard and non-standard)<br> <br>Compile job specific bill of materials, erection details, and cut lists for bought out material<br> <br>Edit corrections to marked-up shop fabrication drawings<br> <br>Assist in developing and maintaining standard details, drawings, instruction manuals<br> <br>Produce miscellaneous detail and drawing related tasks as needed<br> <br> <strong>What will I need to know? </strong> <br> <br>We are seeking a talented individual with knowledge of standard drafting practices<br> <br>AutoCAD with strong math skills<br> <br>Position requires good organizational and communication skills as well as the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment<br> <br>Associate degree or appropriate experience<br> <br>Strong math skills (geometry and trigonometry)<br> <br>Experience with Autocad&trade; software<br> <br>Basic computer skills (Microsoft&reg; Excel & Word)<br> <br>Ability to read and interpret plans and calculations<br> <br>Working knowledge of AISC methods used in detailing structural steel<br> <br>Understanding of shop fabrication practices, methods, and knowing limitations of the production department<br> <br>Eyesight, hearing, and hand dexterity sufficient to operate computer monitors, keyboards, mouse, as well as other office equipment<br> <br>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
