<div><p></p><p>The Assembler is responsible for assembling, marking, labeling, and packaging small parts.</p><p><strong>Major Areas of Responsibility:</strong><strong> </strong></p><ul><li>Working from blueprints, operation sheets, travelers, or other specifications, completes finishing and deburring operations to produce quality parts.</li><li>Checks the product to meet all blueprint or operations specifications.</li><li>Performs minor set-ups on deburring equipment to perform necessary tasks. Obtains all necessary tooling, gages, and materials.</li><li>Assembling of product to be consistent to the blueprint operations sheet specifications. May include pressing, glueing, painting, or baking various aerospace items for Assembly.</li><li>Function may also include part marking, cleaning, deburring, tumbling, or other various operations.</li><li>Measuring tools include micrometers, Vernier, Optical Comparer, dial bores, pin gages.</li><li>Performs visual inspections (part relationship to operation sheet/blueprint configuration) on all parts produced and performs actual dimensional verification using measuring instruments as per the guidelines established by the department or the Quality Assurance Department. </li><li>Replaces all worn or damaged tooling as necessary.</li><li>Verifies and records the actual part count, both prior to and upon completion of all work. </li><li>Develop and document assembly procedures, train assemblers in operations and processes.</li><li>Keeps the equipment and work area clean and organized. </li><li>Notifies lead<strong> </strong>person or supervisor of any parts shortages or machining problems/difficulties.</li><li>Packs and washes/preserves parts as needed.</li><li>Performs other machining and assembly operations as needed.</li><li>Performs other related duties as required, such as labeling and packaging small parts.</li><li>Interacts with associates from all departments.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Ability to understand operation sheets/blueprints, specifications, and all applicable company/customer paperwork.</li><li>Quality minded with the willingness and ability to cross train in other areas to provide support.</li><li>One year plus experience in a machine shop or Assembly environment</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Ability to sit/stand for prolonged periods of time.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p></p> </div><br /><br /><img src="https://www.click2apply.net/v/2OJkZVhexQe6AIDlJiEb7o" /><br /><br /><p>PI243203392</p>
