Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Product Development:

Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives to identify market opportunities, address client needs, and drive revenue growth.

Collaborate with senior management, underwriting, product development, and marketing teams to define product strategies and roadmaps.

Research and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform product development priorities.


Insurance Product Innovation:

Drive innovation in insurance product design, features, and delivery methods to differentiate the company's offerings in the marketplace.

Identify emerging risks, customer pain points, and unmet needs to develop new insurance solutions and enhancements.

Leverage technology, data analytics, and digital capabilities to enhance the customer experience and streamline insurance processes.


Client Engagement and Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, brokers, and industry partners to understand their evolving needs and preferences.

Collaborate with clients to co-create customized insurance solutions and value-added services that address their specific challenges and objectives.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, thought leadership, and innovative solutions to help them achieve their business goals.


Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution:

Develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new insurance products and solutions, including pricing, distribution, and marketing strategies.

Work closely with sales, marketing, and distribution channels to drive awareness, adoption, and sales of insurance solutions.

Monitor market performance, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to optimize go-to-market strategies and drive continuous improvement.


Thought Leadership and Industry Engagement:

Represent the company as a thought leader and subject matter expert in insurance solutions, speaking at industry conferences, events, and forums.

Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the insurance industry.

Participate in industry associations, working groups, and committees to contribute insights and thought leadership to the broader insurance community.


Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCU, CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in insurance product development, innovation, or strategic planning roles, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability. Leadership experience in cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. Proficiency in using data analytics, market research, and project management tools.
  • Attributes: Visionary leader, results-driven, and customer-focused. Ability to influence and inspire others, both internally and externally. High level of integrity, professionalism, and adaptability.
