Job Location: Foundation to Combat Anti Semitism - Foxboro, MA Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Job Category: Administrative/Clerical DESCRIPTION: The mission of the Foundation to Combat Antisemitism (FCAS) is to win the hearts and minds of non-Jews and Jews through powerful positive messaging and partnerships, motivating and equipping them to be defenders of and upstanders for Jews. FCAS focuses on spreading the Blue Square and associated programs to spur action by people of all backgrounds. Working with a network of partners, FCAS leverages unique monitoring technology to drive effective rapid response to Jewish hate and all hate, in addition to proactive programs that galvanize popular support for the Jewish community. SUMMARY: The Vice President of Partnerships (Vice President) is a newly created position intended to provide leadership and management of strategic partnerships and convenings. The primary focus of this position is the effective scaling of FCAS' strategic partnerships and coalitions and driving impact through the following target verticals at a key inflection point when Jewish hate and other forms of hatred are rapidly growing: (1) the sports industry and audiences; (2) Black, LGBTQ+, and diverse communities and organizations; and (3) Jewish, interfaith, and corporate communities. The Vice President will define, operationalize, and execute a comprehensive strategy that frames FCAS programmatic offerings, how and with whom the Foundation will partner, considerations for when to offer programming independently, and expectations of partners at a time when existing and prospective partners are seeking increased engagement with FCAS and tools for educating and activating their respective constituencies. It will be critical that the Vice President continue to ambitiously advance strategic partnerships and coalitions even as they develop and formalize long-term plans. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with FCAS leadership to create and implement a strategy for increasing the breadth of coalition membership in alignment with the Foundation's overall strategic direction and mission, also supporting the planning and execution of related fundraising as appropriate to help ensure sustainable funding thereof. Serve as a highly visible representative in building public awareness of and engagement with FCAS among organizations that fall within target verticals and provide overall leadership in building corresponding new external partnerships and coalitions, developing transformational opportunities, and maintaining strong existing relationships; identify opportunities for the strategic participation of additional FCAS stakeholders in these efforts as appropriate. Oversee FCAS programs and convenings, ensuring that design, implementation, and execution are aligned with strategic goals, mission, and values consistent with the nature of each unique relationship. Ensure a high level of quality as well as integration and collaboration across programs and convenings as appropriate to leverage teamwork, maximize resources, share best practices, and deliver quality, value-added outcomes for partners and participants. Participate in the oversight and implementation of research, evaluation, and assessment measures, leveraging data to inform programming. Oversee management, training, evaluation, and prospective hirings of an evolving, highly driven staff, fostering an ethos of continuous improvement, innovation, inclusivity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Increase effectiveness and productivity by serving as coach and mentor, ensuring clear expectations and accountability. Oversee budgetary planning and fiscal responsibility for programs and convenings in collaboration with FCAS leadership, ensuring that activities and financial resources are aligned, soundly managed, and scaling commensurately. Prepare regular reports regarding coalition membership and corresponding activities and progress for FCAS leaders and broader distribution as appropriate. Ensure adherence to partnership agreements, ongoing monitoring and analysis of programmatic performance and sound fiscal responsibility, and corresponding stewardship of partner relationships. Undertake special projects or other, related duties as determined by senior leadership. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position manages a growing team of 2 direct and 1 indirect report. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree. Commitment to the mission and values of FCAS and a sophisticated understanding of antisemitism in its current and historical context. Seven or more years of experience in developing and executing strategic partnerships and programs. Experience developing relationships to drive collective movement-building and spearhead transformational change, fostering collaboration across complex and sensitive subject matter. Preferred experience in program design, development, evaluation, and scaling as well as acumen in proposal development, operational and management processes, and process improvement strategies. Superb verbal and written communication skills with the stature, demeanor, and comfort level to serve as a highly visible and public-facing ambassador of FCAS. Track record of effective management and agility in toggling between strategy, hands-on execution, and team leadership. Excellent judgment that prioritizes mission above personal gain or ego; a commitment to innovation, diplomacy, inclusivity, continuous improvement, and accountability. Exceptional work ethic, entrepreneurial and highly flexible leadership style. Culturally competent with respect to issues such as racial, cultural, religious, sexual, and gender identity. Must have attention to detail and focused concentration. Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently. Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow. Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
