Travel Surgical Technologist - $1,804 per week

Certification Details BLS; Department: OR Tech / Surg Tech Certifications Required: BLS (Preferred: CST) of Suites: 6 Job Details Hospital in Omaha is seeking traveling OR Tech. Shift will be 7a-5:30p. Experience with Ortho, general, GYN, urology, plastics, neuro and ENT is a plus. Must be able to handle total joints, robotics, general laparoscopic cases, urology, hand and foot, breast cases including reconstructions Great interpersonal skills Willingness to be a great team player Attention to details Fast and efficient Hard worker Willingness to take call (even on short notice) Willingness to change shifts to accommodate changing volumes Schedule Information Shift will be 7a-5:30p. 0630-1700 OR supervisor will make schedule 6-7 call shifts per month 2-3 weekends in a 13 week contract At least 1 holiday call per year Unit Specific Information Average of cases per day: Over 400 per month Common Cases: Adults and Peds, mainly outpatient procedures including ortho (including total joints and sports med), general, obgyn, robotic, plastics, ENT, Urology, hands, podiatry, breast reconstructions No - Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?
