Travel Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,742 per week

Certification Details BLS/BCLS Certification Job Details The Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA), under the clinical supervision of a Physical Therapist, performs direct patient care activities using a variety of therapeutic procedures, and assistive devices designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination and body alignment, to relieve pain and to improve movement and function. We are looking for PT Assistant with both in and out-patient experience. The workload is about 50/50 between the two. Job Requirements Looking for PT Assistant with both in and out-patient experience. Schedule Information Shift is 8-5 with hour lunch Mon-Fri. We serve the hospital on Saturdays and all the therapists share that responsibility, so there would be 1 and at most 2 Saturday per month with time off during the week. Additional Details OVERTIME & BILLING RULES: Billing Cycle is weekly. Any missed meals and breaks must be pre-approved by Supervisor prior to missing and will be paid with proof of approval. Overtime Policy: The overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week shall be billable at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The holiday rate shall be defined as the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The on-call rate shall be defined in the Job Posting. Note: For any 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, the Agency is to invoice MMH the All-Inclusive Rate for the entire shift. There is no elevated billing allowed for hours 9, 10, 11 & 12. Housing can be somewhat difficult to find. The facility prefers credentialing be sent in one batch. It is acceptable and encouraged to provide updates but please send compliance all at the same time once completed.
