Certification Details ACLS BLS/BCLS PALS Job Details Reporting to the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) and through delegation of assignments by the Nurse House Supervisor, will independently implement the nursing process to provide safe and effective patient care throughout selected/assigned hospital nursing departments. He/she demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized, age-appropriate care to patients served in these departments. Provides break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs working in the Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments. Will be directed, or autonomously go to, any department for which s/he is trained and competent, at any given time to provide nursing support. Maintain the required proof of competency to ensure they are performing at the expected level of patient care. Patient age range: 0-120 years old Work Experience: Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. 6 months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting is required. Job Requirements Current unencumbered California RN License. Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS and PALS. BLS MUST BE FROM AMERICAN HEART Minimum of one year acute care experience within the past two years. 6 months recent experience in Emergency or Critical Care setting is required. Additional Details Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week shall be billable at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The holiday rate shall be defined as the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The on-call rate shall be defined in the Job Posting. For any 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, the entire shift will be billed at the All-Inclusive Rate with no elevated billing allowed for hours 9, 10, 11 & 12. Housing can be somewhat difficult to find. The facility prefers credentialing be sent in one batch, with updates provided but compliance sent all at once when completed.
