Our client, the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a document specialist to join their team. Job Title: Document Specialist Location: Lake bluff , IL Pay Range: $21/hr on w2 What’s the Job? Document Specialist III—Transparency Operations Location: Lake County, Illinois (primary consideration). Willis Tower, Chicago, Illinois (secondary consideration). Job Description: * ’s global transparency operations are looking for an individual contributor who will support the US Transparency Manager in documentation and daily operations of the transparency & reporting process. This role is a hybrid combination of administrative/documentation, data analysis, and serving as a contact point for internal customer questions and day-to-day support. Primary Job Tasks: Serve as the ‘level 1’ support for internal stakeholders who have questions regarding the transparency process. Level 1 entails answering straightforward/day-to-day operations questions (ex: how do I submit this form? ) and redirecting the stakeholder to the appropriate subject matter expert for more nuanced questions. Execute simple searches and queries from databases and understand how this data might apply for a given context. Support review and revision of process documentation as processes change and evolve. Maintain relations with other team members and provide ad hoc assistance to non-US-related projects as needed. Become a general expert of relevant US transparency guidelines as experience with the job develops. Education and Experiences: Associates required; BS/BA preferred. Fair consideration is given to those with a high school diploma/GED if prior work experience matches job requirements. 0-1 year of experience with, or exposure to, business functions such as compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, governmental affairs, and finance. 2+ years preferred. Skill Requirements: Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is mandatory. SharePoint is a plus. Knowledge of SQL/Python is highly preferred, and special consideration will be given. Excellent communication (both verbal and written). Candidates will be offered a chance to participate in a short live demo task during the interview process to demonstrate mastery for special consideration (5 minutes). This demo will cover Excel functions such as Vlookup/Xlookup, creating pivot tables, and a very general SQL query. Candidates may refuse with no penalty.
