Position Summary:
Seeking a Clinical Nursing Leader to provide clinical leadership for nursing and technician staff, supervise patient care delivery, and serve as a clinical resource. Facilitate evidenced-based research and promote a positive work environment. $8.00 additional compensation may be earned based on Nursing Education and National Certifications.
Detailed responsibilities:
- Lead nursing strategic initiatives including quality improvement, TJC compliance, and staff recruitment
- Provide educational leadership and specialized patient care within clinical protocols
- Assign nursing personnel and staff using independent judgment
- Supervise and direct staff providing patient care, ensuring adherence to policies
- Assist with special tests and procedures and ensure proper consent has been obtained
Qualifications
Education:
- Program Graduate
- Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
Experience:
2 years directly related experience
Credentials:
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
- RN certification
Physical Conditions:
Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally
Working conditions:
- Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE
- Subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal
