Summary:
Provide direct patient care in the acute care setting of the emergency department or inpatient area utilizing various nursing skills and established standards of care at the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
Practical Nursing Formal Education approved by the NM Board of Nursing
*Licensed Practical Nurse-NM
* BLS required at time of hire
PDS IV Certification course (within orientation period)
Basic Cardiac Arrythmias (BCA) for areas where cardiac telemetry monitoring is used (prior to ACLS)
ACLS (within 6 months of being hired) for areas where required
