The Account Manager will be a critical team member of the Global Key Account team supporting a Large Mobile Customer in the Bay Area. You will have the opportunity to take the lead in shaping our future business with this innovative customer. With your knowledge and experience, you will cultivate design-in opportunities, drive strategy and roadmaps, and be accountable in executing our growth strategy. Facilitating alignment between key account needs and product and roadmap deliverables will be a critical function of the role.
Primary Responsibilities are :

  • Strategic assessment of new business opportunities, in cooperation with the product teams. Opportunities for growth are assessed based on an analysis of the entire value chain, taking into account a number of strategic criteria, such as technological differentiators, strategic fit, profitability and timing
  • Develop solid and long-term influential relationships with key decision makers at all levels in the assigned customer
  • Develop in depth knowledge and understanding of the customer's products and industry, value chain, applications, end markets to exploit all available business opportunities
  • Ability to understand and influence customer's hardware architecture in order to position NXP's solutions
  • Initiate and report design-in programs and identify new projects in co-ordination with BL's utilizing internal forecast tool.
  • Increase sales, market share and ensure contract fulfillment to achieve or exceed budget.
  • Drive contract awards in alignment with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare forecast. Understand and interpret customer supply chain, production plans, ramp-up/-downs, and communicate related product demand.
  • Understand service level request of the customer and measures performance accordingly (vendor rating). Drives improvement activities as needed to improve customer loyalty.
  • Develop and maintain an intimate working knowledge of the customer's supply chain from demand creation through demand fulfillment and manufacturing.
  • Target key design-in opportunities and tailor NXP value propositions to establish differentiating plus sustainable advantage.
  • Ensures required internal and external reporting takes place

Your Profile :
BSEE/MSEE/MBA
5+ years experience in marketing/sales and/or business development for complex components, system solutions, and services, preferably in Mobile, IoT, and/or Consumer markets
Experienced in driving customer and sales relationships in an international environment
Self-starter, motivated to work autonomously
Excellent communication & presentation skills (oral & in writing)
Target and result oriented
Stakeholder management at customers, partners, and internal
International project management experience
Persevere in the face of obstacles
Ability to manage through influence
Be a benchmark for others
Thought leadership through customer and market insight
Good understanding of broad range of IC products and technologies including NFC, Microcontrollers, and Analog as well as a solid application background in mobile and computing technologies
The base salary range for this position is as mentioned below per year. We also provide competitive benefits, incentive compensation, and/or equity for certain roles.

Please note that the base salary range (OR hourly rate) is a guideline, and individual total compensation may vary based on a number of factors such as qualifications, skill level, work location, and other business and organizational needs. This base pay range is specific to California and is not applicable to other locations. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range as of the date of this posting is:
$142,300 to $195,600 annually
