Job Description

We recently established the Finance Velocity Office, designed to accelerate our path to building a world-class finance function. This newly created function will shape our transformation strategy, improve our business operations and enhance the impact we make as a function. Why velocity? This is an individual contributor role, reporting to a leader in the Finance Velocity Team. This individual will partner closely with key stakeholders across the Finance function to achieve workstream objectives in alignment with the overall Finance Transformation strategy.

Essential Functions: Drive the business intelligence workstream as part of the Transformation, defining end-state Analytics CoE governance, processes, and tools, and provide thought leadership for its development. Champion change through scaling training, best practice sharing, and cultivating a community of BI SMEs. Serve as a process improvement manager for the Finance Analytics Transformation initiative, developing short and long-term solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across reporting and analytics. Bring a consultative approach to develop root cause and impact analysis, and drive execution of key performance metrics to measure the impact of implemented process changes. Facilitate and define reporting and analytics business requirements by working cross functionally across FP&A, finance systems and data teams. Facilitate faster adoption of system solutions by partnering with the Financial Systems and FP&A teams leveraging iterative/agile approaches for build, test and deployment. Maintain project cadence by delivering/overseeing the delivery of project plans, analysis, deliverables, trackers, and other key documents. Identify, manage, and communicate key transformation performance metrics, including the creation/maintenance of dashboards. Conduct stakeholder interviews independently to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities, while creating process documentation, maps, and business requirements. Leverage technology to improve processes, including the incorporation of automation, and measure improvements for data-driven accountability. Analyze transformation objectives and business needs to deliver recommendations based on industry best practices. Design/facilitate training sessions and contribute to planning and coordination for Transformation Leadership Team Meetings and project gatherings.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: •8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications: •At least 9 years of professional experience with a Bachelors Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD. •Experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Finance Operations, preferably with Shared service model and/or FP&A CoE development. Management consulting strongly preferred. •Experience working with BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker) in a Finance capacity is preferred •Demonstrated ability to improve current state practices, own end-to-end processes, and map and optimize existing processes. •Experience working on multi-stakeholder initiatives aimed at improving the customer experience, with strong collaboration skills in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional teams. •Enthusiasm for learning new technology, driving automation into processes, and using data and trend analyses to identify opportunities for improvement. •Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, and be resourceful and solution-oriented in ambiguous situations. •Quick learning ability in unfamiliar subjects that can be turned into actionable project initiatives, and ability to analyze multiple data sets and create compelling stories from insights. •Self-starter, results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal communication skills, exceptional personal accountability, and ethical standards. Capable of influencing without direct authority. •Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,700 to 214,150 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
