The Opportunity This position works out of our

San Diego, CA

location in the

Cardiometabolic and Informatics Division . This role is officed based 5 days a week. Our Rapid Diagnostics solutions are helping to address some of the world’s most significant healthcare challenges. As the Manager, Warehousing & Inventory, you’ll have the chance to oversee all aspects of inventory in a distribution center/local warehouse environment, which may include some or all of the following activities: Shipping, Receiving, Finished Goods Inventory Management, Component Inventory Management, Final Pack and associated logistics ensuring a safe working environment. What You’ll Work On Manage flow of inventory within the distribution center/warehouse to support efficiencies, quality system compliance and customer delivery dates.

Evaluates warehousing processes and systems, makes recommendations for improvements, manages the implementation of approved process, and systems changes to improve productivity, reduce expenses, and improve margins.

Applies continuous improvement tools to identify and eliminate the root causes of issues that may arise within the warehouse, including managing corrective action(s) to mitigate reoccurrence.

Provides leadership by assigning goals that align to entity’s annual plans and department needs then manage the team to execute goals through coaching and mentoring.

Establish a culture of accountability and compliance.

Manages all transportation and delivery programs, including routing, courier selection, company driver and fleet management, while minimizing expenses and maintaining a high level of customer service and responsiveness.

Manages workforce planning, including short-term staffing needs to support weekly business commitments.

Responsible for all matters related to warehouse safety and security, including evaluating and implementing appropriate safeguards necessary to protect the welfare of the employees and the company.

Maintains physical facilities, including the evaluation and procurement of material handling equipment and other building maintenance, upgrades and repairs as necessary.

Creates and maintains departmental reports, as required to facilitate operations.

Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.

Hires and retains a diverse, highly qualified staff.

On an annual basis, establish the functional goals for area of responsibility with Manager. Update and review progress against goals on a semi-annual basis and conduct annual performance reviews/appraisals and development plans for direct reports.

Schedule team communications, one on one sessions with direct reports to provide feedback and utilize the rewards and recognition program to promote a positive work environment.

Maintainshigh standards in housekeeping, safety, GMP and a professional work environment.

Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.

Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Required Qualifications: Education: Associate degree required plus 7 years of experience.

Preferred: Bacher's Degree focused Supply Chain, Operations, Business or equivalent experienceplus 5 years or more of experience in similar role/environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Previous Work Experience: Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.

Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback to develop employees, build positive relationships and improve business results.

Proven success in improving work processes, leading change and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent skills in a complex and fast paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills to address challenging problems.

Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold team accountable.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,500.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
