Tax Manager

GNFerraris LLC (“GNF”) is excited to announce an opening for the position of Tax Manager. We are seeking a motivated and organized individual with good communication skills. We offer a rewarding career path at a boutique CPA firm located in Sag Harbor which harbors an extensive and diverse client base. GNF’s compensation package includes health insurance, retirement plan, paid time-off, parental leave, and on-the-job professional training. The compensation range is between $90,000 and $110,000, commensurate with candidate experience.

Primary responsibilities include:

· Prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate, trust and estate tax returns.

· Prepare year-end adjusting journal entries and close out books.

· Interact and collaborate with clients to provide tax planning and compliance services.

· Manage client expectations, meet deadlines, and share tax saving strategies.

· Collaborate with partners to manage workflows in a time sensitive environment, particularly during tax season.

Candidate requirements include:

· Ability to commute to Sag Harbor – this is a full-time, in-office position.

· 5+ years’ experience in tax and accounting.

· Competence in UltraTax, QuickBooks, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.

· Willingness to work weekends during tax seasons (February 1st through April 15th and September 1st through October 15th).

· Written and verbal communication skills.

· Organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to multi-task.

· Eagerness to develop professional skills.
