About the Role:
- Provide outstanding, friendly and efficient technical support to our select clientele remotely via phone, email, and screen sharing
- Help maintain and nurture relationships with our customers and their staff
- Support Windows systems, applications, hardware and basic networking
- Proactive maintenance including patching and responding to monitoring alerts
- Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software
- Help plan and participate in new projects and deployments
- Assist with maintaining security posture and business continuity preparedness
- Maintain accurate documentation and keep track of tickets and resolutions
- Periodic travel to client sites in Las Cruces, Deming and Silver City
What you Bring:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with users of all technical levels
- A patient and friendly problem-solver who can explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people understand
- Highly motivated to track issues through completion
- A team player, collaborating with client contacts and your team to ensure smooth operations
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment in all aspects of your work
- A technology enthusiast eager to learn new things and apply them to daily work
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel periodically
Required Skills:
- Highly experienced with Microsoft server and client operating system fundamentals including Windows 10, Windows 11, Server 2019 and Server 2022
- Highly experienced with patch management of Windows and 3rd party software
- Fundamentals of Active Directory management, group policy, file & print services, client/server networking
- Software application support for end users
- Basics of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, firewall
- Windows operating systems installation, configuration, support
- Computer hardware and peripheral support
Bonus Point Skills:
- Experience with IT in financial institution
- Wordpress installation, configuration, administration
- Virtualization, server and storage hardware support
- Basic to moderate Linux / Unix experience and common services
- Perimeter firewall administration
- Routing and switching administration
Other Requirements:
- Must pass background check and have no convictions for any violent or financial crime
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds from the floor to counter level
- Be able to manipulate to their proper use basic hand tools
- US citizen
