Substance Use Counselor (SAIOP)

The Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) helps individuals learn how to manage life issues and day-to- day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs. Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment.<strong>Responsibilities include:</strong><br /> <ul><li>Conducting intensive outpatient (IOP) groups, individual counseling and psychoeducation.</li><li>Follow established guidelines in Addictive Disease Program Plan.</li><li>Individual counseling as clinically indicated.</li><li>Complete Behavioral Health Assessments (BHA) / Service Plan Development (SPD's), and all other supporting assessments, including UDS, &amp; documentation for individuals affiliated with Bartow IOP.</li><li>Follow-up calls with referrals and participation in Treatment/consultation/clinical team meetings.</li><li>Complete monthly Treatment Plan reviews and discharge/transition person's served, as clinically indicated.</li><li>IOP clinician conducting monthly audits for IOP staff.</li><li>Other duties as assigned by Director of Addictive Disease Operations, AD Regional Manager(s), as needed to meet expanding needs of individuals served.</li></ul> <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=66117daaa70f0b754e82fb86706d7654&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
