The Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) helps individuals learn how to manage life issues and day-to- day living without the use of mood- or mind-altering substances or drugs. Program services promote recovery, self-sufficiency, development of support networks and other important life skills to enhance mental health and reduce the risk of needing inpatient treatment. <strong>Job Responsibilities include:</strong><br /> <ul><li> Responsible for ensuring all individuals on caseload are seen at documented frequency per the treatment plan and that appropriate release of information are in place/documented for coordination of care.</li><li>Assist the individuals with the development of interpersonal, community coping skills, and resource linkage through education, training, and modeling</li><li>Provides assessment, monitoring and assistance to individual with self-management of symptoms to encourage recovery.</li><li>Link and/or serve as advocate with other agencies to garner needed resources for individuals.</li><li>Provides assistance and support in crisis situations.</li><li>Actively participates in multidisciplinary treatment/recovery team meetings each week.</li><li>Utilizes the multidisciplinary assessment to participate in the development of a comprehensive individualized service/recover plan with a focus on recovery.</li><li>Work with, and reports to, ADSS supervisor and/or area manager for assigned Region. Tap into community programs such as drug court to provide ADSS and bill accordingly to SCS and Payer.</li><li> Responsible for providing contacts based on the frequency defined in the individuals' treatment plans; documents attempts to contact individual, ISP Reviews, and coordination of care with referral sources including, but not limited to, Accountability/Treatment Courts, DFCS, and Probation.</li><li>Assist the individuals in reaching the skill building objective in their individualized service/recovery plan.</li><li>Establishes professional and ethical relationships with individuals, families, and coworkers.</li><li>Transport individuals if needed.</li></ul> <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=57cc542fbbc9cdb119b2b65bad4f4d55&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
