Full-Time
Job Description:
The staff occupational therapist shall evaluate and treat patients; develop a treatment
plan; and set goals for patients. Patient and family education is included in the treatment plan and
goals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Complete documentation according to applicable national and state regulations as
-
well as hospital and departmental policies.
-
Assist with the education of affiliating students, the department staff, hospital staff, and the community at large.
-
Delegate to and supervise Occupational Therapist assistants and technicians.
-
The therapist will participate in departmental operational plan.
-
Intervene appropriately and meet the needs of the patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing or mobility.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree from a school of Occupational Therapy
-
LSVT BIG certification preferred.
-
Current License by the Kentucky State Board of Occupational Therapy
