Thalle is currently seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to hire a Licensed Electrician (KY) on a 6 Year, $375M (+) USACE Lock and Dam project located on scenic Kentucky Lake in Grand Rivers, KY.

Compensation rate: $32.35/hr + $2.18 Fringe
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Thalle is seeking a licensed electrician for a large scale multi year construction project. USACE

  • Measures, cuts, threads, and assembles electrical conduit for installation.
  • Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.
  • Install control and distribution apparatus.
  • Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement.
  • Responsible for the observation and compliance with all related project site safety rules.
  • Conduct work with 100% integrity and professionalism.
  • Trouble shoot and repair electrical power and control wiring for concrete batch plant and excavation dewatering system.
  • Perform proper lockout/tagout procedures.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed electrician in Kentucky.
  • Ability to receive written or oral instructions.
  • Must be able to read blueprints or diagrams.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationship with field and office personnel.
  • Must be committed to contributing to a culture of safety, looking out for yourself and others.
  • Industrial or Heavy Civil Electrician experience preferred.
  • USACE EM 385 experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
  • Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times.
  • Able to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots.
  • Able to walk moderate distances to reach work area up to 1/2 mile
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
  • Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
