Sales Territory Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Develop new business by identifying prospective customers and participating in trade shows and conferences
  • Stay informed about market conditions and competitors' products to share information with customers
  • Provide exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Work Environment

  • Frequently outside the office environment visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience using Customer Relationship Management tools
  • Valid driver's license and good motor vehicle record

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand, walk, drive, sit, lift, carry, grasp objects, and manipulate objects as part of the job responsibilities
