We are seeking a Clinical Fellow Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field, and will be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Additionally, the candidate must be licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state of practice.
Responsibilities:
- Complete a minimum of 36 weeks Clinical Fellowship while being supervised and mentored by a licensed, ASHA certified SLP
- Complete all requirements for provisional licensure, if applicable to the state, and practice in accordance with state licensure requirements
- Communicate status of Clinical Fellowship and licensure to direct supervisor and Director of Rehab
- Meet productivity standards for the rehab gym
- Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select appropriate therapeutic regimens
- Order supplies and equipment as necessary
- Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, including history, systems review, and application of appropriate tests and measures
