Seeking candidates for a Marketing Coordinator permanent job position with our manufacturing client in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. In this job role, you will be a key contributor to the marketing team and support the sales team as well. The ideal candidate will have prior marketing experience within manufacturing with the ability to support a wide range of overall marketing functions including coordinating promotional materials and communications, advertising, presentation development, digital marketing and social media, branding, content management, and conducting marketing analysis. Also, experience working in Salesforce is highly preferred. The Marketing Coordinator will need to be a detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. This position reports to the VP of Sales.

What you doing be doing as a Marketing Coordinator?

  • Support sales and marketing teams to achieve objectives and grow the business
  • Coordinate and drive usage of salesforce.com tools both internally and externally, working with the vendor
  • Work with developer to enhance capabilities based on clear objectives and metrics
  • Report metrics to leadership as requested
  • Track and monitor annual marketing budget in line with annual budget
  • Maintain competitive database and communicate relevant data to sales team
  • Assist with copywriting, artwork, and web workflow for planned print and digital marketing communications
  • Develop world class presentations for Leadership, Sales & Marketing to adequately position the company as industry leaders
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials including presentations, samples, etc.
  • Plan and manage meetings, events, conferences, and tradeshows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating salesforce.com mailing lists
  • Coordinate requirements for promotional materials
  • Assist with sales and marketing content management upkeep including shared drives and content libraries, including customer contracts, supplier surveys, etc.
  • Keep up to date with best practices in writing for the web and social media
  • Stay current with industry specific trends and activities that are utilized to communicate with customers
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy
  • Carry out other related tasks as required

What you need for this job position as a Marketing Coordinator?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
  • 1-5 years of experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role within manufacturing
  • Manufacturing marketing experience is required
  • Salesforce experience highly preferred
  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing and social media marketing
  • Experience with advertising and promotions
  • Experience with branding
  • Market research and analysis
  • Detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
