Overview
SENIOR DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST (RDTE):
Bowhead is seeking a Senior Data Management Analyst to join our team in Dahlgren, VA and to provide customer support and technical assistance to Corporate Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) Network users to our designated customers.
Responsibilities
Additional duties include:
  • Supporting the program managing and distributing program data.
  • Utilizing the program's Configuration Management (CM) database and tools (SharePoint, IPA, OneStop and Microsoft Office) to track system changes and updates through all stages of the change request process.
  • Inventory labs, tracking and barcoding equipment as required
  • Assist in the development of complete Change Control Process in OneStop
  • Coordinating and executing the movement of excessed Government Furnished Equipment including preparation of documentation (transmittals, DD1149s, equipment lists).
  • Uploading/downloading of data from/to multiple networks or hard drives to facilitate the shipment and receipt of materials and media
  • Chair CCB meetings, create agendas and meeting minutes as required
  • Preparing documentation (Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Equipment Inventory Tracking Lists, SOPs)
  • Tracking the status of procurements as required
  • Maintaining the current database of GFE. (Physical and electronic inventory)
  • Producing and maintaining SOPs for data management.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Bachelors degree and six (6+) or more years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the Configuration Management process and procedures to identify, document, and control the functional and physical characteristics of a software configuration item.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate the shipping, receiving and tracking of IT assets.
  • Demonstrated ability to support Laboratory Operations to include property/inventory management, and DRMO of excess equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain Inventory, CCB agendas, meeting minutes and schedules, to include CCB reviews, technical meetings, and process development.
  • Demonstrated ability assisting in the preparation of documentation required to support the purchase of materials and/or equipment
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
