Lead Structural Engineer SE , Manager of Marine Infrastructure/Waterfront Projects
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of experience working on Waterfront and Industrial Infrastructure Projects, including Port Developments, Marinas, Shipyards, Ferry & Cruise Terminals, Fish & Wildlife Facilities, Floating Structures, and Marine Engineering.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 year of structural design experience.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Professional Structural Engineer (S.E.) Required.
  • Concrete steel and timber design experience.
  • Pile design and bulkhead wall experience.
  • Prestressed concrete and seismic design experience.
  • Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
  • Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to work dynamically and effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for developing design and project management skills.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and exceeding expectations.
Responsibilities:
  • Managing project tasks, ensuring efficient coordination of timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as necessary to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Mentor team members to support their professional growth and development.
  • Apply your engineering expertise to diverse projects, collaborating with teams to devise innovative solutions drawing on best practices in areas such as pile design, bulkhead wall, prestressed concrete, and seismic design for Port developments, marine engineering, ferry and cruise terminals, shipyards, fish & wildlife facilities, marinas, and floating structures.
  • Contribute to projects involving waterfront infrastructure and industrial developments, leveraging your skills to drive successful outcomes in these specialized areas.
  • Learn to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies to contribute to project success.
  • Gain experience in ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle, including understanding regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Enhance your skills in identifying and overcoming challenges through innovative problem-solving approaches, utilizing both traditional and modern engineering techniques.
