KVC Academy – Boonville
SIGN-ON BONUS $3,000 - $5,000
This is a school based, full-time (August – June) position.
As a KVC School-Based Therapist , you will work directly within the KVC Academy school setting to provide individual, family, and group therapy services to students. You will collaborate closely with teachers, teacher assistants, and teacher aides to develop trauma informed support plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Compensation:
$50,000-$60,000 annually.
Education:
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling
Licensure/Certification:
- LMSW, LCSW, PLPC OR LPC
In this position, you will experience advantages including:
- Participating in internal clinical training, which can count as Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for license upkeep.
- Receiving company-covered clinical supervision, guidance, and mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of clinical theory, therapy, and systems.
- Knowledge of trauma and its impacts on health development.
- Previous experience in a trauma informed school, preferred.
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload with attention to detail.
- Must be able to work productively and respectfully with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
