ROBOT ARM OPERATOR

The Robot Arm Operator is responsible for the operation of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine.<br />This is a 2nd shift opportunity with a schedule of 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m</p> <p><strong>PRIMARY DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul><li>Report any factors that may influence the quality and safety of the finished feed and ingredients to the immediate supervisor</li> <li>The safe, efficient functioning of the automatic palletizer and wrap machine – making any necessary adjustments to ensure quality stacking</li> <li>Inspect empty pallets to ensure they are of good quality</li> <li>Performing daily Metal Detect checks and weigh checks to ensure equipment is working properly</li> <li>Troubleshooting operational issues following all safety protocols</li> <li>The organization and cleanliness of the east alleyway of the East Warehouse</li> <li>Monitoring, organizing and recording of ripped bags,  “off weights” and metal reject</li> <li>Checking weights and date codes on the products being packed</li> <li>Organizing rework and cooperating with the Shift Support Person in accessing rework</li> <li>Compacting of cardboard as time permits</li> <li>All other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> <p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul><li>Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements.</li> <li>Good communication skills.</li> <li>Understanding of feed manufacturing and willingness to learn and grow.</li> <li>Understanding of feed mill equipment and layout.</li> <li>Thorough understanding of cGMP’s.</li> <li>Knowledge of HACCP Feed &amp; Food Safety Plan.</li> <li>Knowledge of FSMA.</li> </ul> <p><strong>WAGE:</strong></p> <ul><li>Starting at $18.00 an hour</li> </ul> See job description <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=8e40938a6fb95132a74991bf3fc4499d&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
