RN Weekend Supervisor

Cypress Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurse manager to work at our facility Saturdays and Sundays. Management experience is required. Must have current RN license in the state of Texas, or compact state. Long term care experience preferred! Come see what makes Cypress a great team to work with!

Job duties include:

Review staffing daily and communicate any needs to the on-call nurse, replace known absences in a timely manner

Ensure staff are accountable for completing their assigned duties on time

Review orders, labs, etc. to ensure residents needs are met

Observe and assist with meal service

Review 24 hour reports to ensure items are followed up on

Notify the MD/DON of any concerns that may be relevant to change in condition, incidents/accidents,

Assist in keeping med carts clean and audit med administration for compliance

Assist with any resident needs including but not limited to, bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, and transferring

Assist with any care needs including wound treatments, med administration, and resident care

Make periodic rounds to ensure residents are safe and their needs are being met

Monitor staff engagement with the residents

Ensure communication is timely and orderly for reporting any changes in condition to the appropriate parties

Notify management of any significant concerns related to staff, residents, and visitors

Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of residents

Assist visitors with any needs and resolve concerns

Continually observe the quality of work for nurses and nursing assistants

Perform other tasks as assigned by management
