Job Summary:
- The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
- Responsibilities may include oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup and monitoring.
Licensure and Certification:
- Certified/registered or eligible to be certified/registered in CRT or RRT required.
- NRP and BLS Certification within 6 months of employment required.
- Licensure for Respiratory Care according to South Dakota regulatory requirement.
Work Schedule:
- PRN, varied shifts, as needed, casual requirements per department policy.
