Job Summary:

  • The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
  • Responsibilities may include oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup and monitoring.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Certified/registered or eligible to be certified/registered in CRT or RRT required.
  • NRP and BLS Certification within 6 months of employment required.
  • Licensure for Respiratory Care according to South Dakota regulatory requirement.

Work Schedule:

  • PRN, varied shifts, as needed, casual requirements per department policy.
