Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults. This role requires proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, airway management, and ventilator setup and monitoring.

Licensure and Certification:

Candidates must be certified or registered in CRT or RRT, and obtain NRP and BLS certification within 6 months of employment. Licensure for Respiratory Care is also required according to South Dakota regulatory requirements.
