Through our disruptive approach, we operate the first of its kind vertically integrated recycling and packaging production plant in North America supplying end-users in numerous product markets.

Recycling Operator I - BHS

Essential Responsibilities

· BUFFER 1 TO 2

o Ensure buffers are at 50% or more the entire shift

· DELABELERS

o Monitor delabeling effectiveness on bottles going to DRS2

o Monitor hoppers of delabelers and adjust settings to keep full throughput

· AMP TRACKING

o Monitor amps and other key parameters of system to ensure 100% uptime and proactive communication to maintenance

· BELLY PANS

o Complete cycle of weekly belly pan drops and conveyor clean outs to reduce downtime

· NRTS

o Assist in cleaning opticals with goal of less than 15 minutes downtime

o Monitor outputs of opticals to ensure contamination is limited for sorters; report issues

· MAX

o Monitor MAX performance and manage daily cleaning of unit

o Report any issues timely and accurately

· CONTAMINATION

o Manage all of the above to ensure contamination is minimized for sorters

· PLANT UPKEEP

o Assist in daily and weekly cleanings as listed in the MCL.

o Maintain world class facility in terms of cleanliness.

· GMP

o Responsible for following food safety requirements of the facility

o Zero GMP violations per month

· SAFETY

· Maintain compliance with company and OSHA safety policies including but not limited to: lockout/ tagout procedures, forklift operation, proper use of PPE, and sharps discovery and handling

· OPERATOR II DUTIES

o Assist Operator II in all duties

Qualifications

· 3+ years stable work experience in a related manufacturing setting

· SQF, HACCP background is a plus

· Able to read and write in English, as well as proficiency in math.

· HS Diploma or GED

· Strong communication skills, ability to speak Spanish a plus.

· Proven abilities to troubleshoot equipment issues and maximize equipment performance

· Hands-on approach, with a "can-do" attitude.

· Demonstrate safe work habits and extensive knowledge of workplace safety is required.

· Forklift certified

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with exceptions to the recycling side

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts

Additional Requirements

· Must be able to wear PPE entire shift

· Must be eligible to work in U.S.

Recycling Shift schedule:

  • C shift 11pm – 7:30pm Fri - Tuesday (shift premium $0.75)
  • D Shift - 2 days on Day shift, 1 day on Swing shift, 2 days on Night shift (shift premium $1.00)

Salary Range

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20-21.00 per hour and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business needs, scope, and level. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions as needed.
