Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Stuart, Florida that is a leading global aerospace manufacturer that specializes in the design and production of aircraft, aerospace equipment, and systems. With a rich heritage dating back to 1863, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the aerospace industry. We are looking for experienced Project Manager who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!

The Project Manager will lead a cross-functional team comprised of direct reports and dotted-line reports to transform the work instructions across the facility using their knowledge of Scrum/ Agile project management knowledge and skills.


Essential Functions:

Fully develop the Project Plan

  • Validate manpower requirements
  • Validate project timing, duration, and budgets
  • Validate pre-defined KPI’s and adjust as necessary to ensure a well-defined measurement of project health

Manage the project to completion

  • Timelines
  • Status
  • Recovery Plans
  • Mitigation Plans
  • Address where the Project can move faster
  • Coordinate across the organization and Project team(s) to address short-falls
Requirements:
  • Scrum/Agile experience required, Scrum Master certification highly preferred
  • BS or higher, or a combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Program/ Project management in aerospace in a matrixed organization leading small-to-medium cross-functional teams, is required
  • Previous experience in Program/ Project management at a greenfield or brownfield start-up, and/ or revamping the work instructions at an existing large aerospace structures manufacturer is highly preferred
  • Previous experience leading Programs/ Projects in Technical Publications for an aerospace manufacturer is a plus
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization and customers.
  • Ability to create and manage project schedules is required; MS Project and/ or PMP certification is preferred
  • Experience using ERP and PLM software is required; SAP and Teamcenter Manufacturing, Bill of Process, etc. is preferred
