Position Summary:

AAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Stuart, Florida that is a leading global aerospace manufacturer that specializes in the design and production of aircraft, aerospace equipment, and systems. With a rich heritage dating back to 1863, they are committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of the aerospace industry. We are looking for experienced Engineer, Quality who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!


Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that aerospace products meet pre-defined standards of quality.
  • Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the onset.
  • Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
  • Design and execute testing processes for product verification, including setting up of testing equipment and instrumentation.
  • Analyze data from testing processes to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Maintain compliance with national and international quality standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations based on findings.
  • Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audit finding reports.
  • Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data to improve product manufacturing.
  • Review suppliers’ purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
  • Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering degree, preferably in Aerospace, Mechanical, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, specifically in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and process control procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative and drive for results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with multiple teams.
  • Familiarity with CAD software and understanding of engineering blueprints and schematics.
