The Division of Preventive Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Brigham and Women's Hospital invites applications for a part-time or full-time project manager with experience preferred in research project management, clinical trial data tracking and reporting, and obesity, nutrition, and cancer epidemiology. They will join an active, multidisciplinary research team conducting epidemiology that includes research in the areas of obesity and body composition, diabetes and metabolic health, and risks of chronic disease including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cancer. They will lead at least one NCI-funded multi-center project overseeing the IRB submissions, data management and related use agreements, administrative and project coordination for BWH and cross-consortium research and scientific meeting activities. They will have the opportunity to lead scientific data analyses and write manuscripts present at scientific meetings, and participate in the development of new related research grant proposals.<br> <br> <b>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</b> <br> <br>Works with PI for the overall management of the NCI-funded research project and related consortium activities.<br> <br>Manages the development and submission of IRB submissions, data use agreements, and other data management tasks.<br> <br>Assists data programming staff and postdoctoral researchers in getting data access, overseeing analysis proposal submisisons, and preparing preliminary data for progress reports. <br> <br>Ensure that BWH and external collaborators follow data access and study proposal approval procedures.<br> <br>Leads internal biweekly project meetings, including collecting updates and circulating announcements to the team.<br> <br>Participates in NCI- and consortium-wide project meetings and prepares updates, presentation slides, as needed.<br> <br>Leads the planning, booking, and communication to others with Dr. Tobias and MPIs on all aspects of event planning for the annual consortium-wide meeting.<br> <br>Contributes to other epidemiologic and clinical trial research management needs for Dr. Tobias, including IRB management, management of project-specific financial invoices and submission for approval.<br> <br>Use/s the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors.
