<strong>Procurement Manager</strong><br><br>Job Summary:<br><br>The Procurement Manager is responsibility for all commodities & services and will secure long-term total quality, delivery, cost efficiency, and sustainability of material and services throughout project lifecycles.<br><br>Duties/Responsibilities:<br><br><ul><li>Responsible for all supplier relationships, securing targeted levels of cost, quality, delivery, sustainability, and supply continuity. </li><li>Develop and coordinate with receiving department to ensure material ordered is received.</li><li>Works with AP department to ensure timely payment of invoices for products ordered and delivered. </li><li>Develop, implement, and manage commodity and supplier strategies that meet internal and external customer demands on a continuous basis. </li><li>Complete and manage the lifecycle of supplier contracts including corporate agreements, annual pricing negotiations and awards, payment terms, and inventory.</li><li>Develop and align commodity and supplier roadmaps in partnership with engineering and project managers. </li><li>Develop, implement, and manage supplier performance and rating based on Key Performance Metrics (KPI) for Quality, Delivery, and Cost. </li><li>Find, assess, and develop new suppliers as needed in accordance with company direction and in alignment with engineering and project management. </li><li>Conduct detailed demand, spend, cost and market analysis using a structured approach to maintain best overall product cost. </li><li>Work with sales, project management, finance, manufacturing, safety, and construction teams to establish an efficient and effective supply chain and support corporate goals of on-time delivery, quality, and material costs.</li></ul><br>Required Skills/Abilities: <br><br><ul><li>Extensive knowledge of the purchasing environment to be able to analyze business procurement issues, recommend solutions and strategies and implement changes.</li><li>Strong blueprint reading skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills, including and understanding of legal terms and conditions. </li><li>Strong analytical skills, including a demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate market data and communicate that data within finance and project management. </li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multiple work groups and develop high quality working internal and external relationships. </li><li>Flexibility and able to adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment with unexpected issues or events. </li><li>Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Project).</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding proprietary company information. </li></ul><br>Education and Experience:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in business management, Construction managements, or related field and/or minimum 5 years of material purchasing experience. </li><li>Certification in Purchasing.</li><li>Manufacturing, welding, project management, or construction experience.</li><li>Experience in managing the following commodities: metals, machining, welding, and MRO.</li><li>Previous experience in a high mix/low volume manufacturing/fabrication environment. </li></ul><br>Physical Requirements: <br><br><ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. </li><li>Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times. </li><li>May be asked to travel to visit vendors, attend trainings or different company events. </li><li>Must be able to navigate shop environment.</li></ul>
