Process Technician

<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b> <br> <br> <strong>Position Summary: </strong>A Process Technician is responsible for mixing and packaging in-process and finished goods inventory.<br> <br> <strong>Specific Requirements:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Stage and prepare all raw materials associated with production batches.</li> <li>Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in the batch making and packaging areas, with active engagement in positive safety behavior</li> <li>Communicates (gives a heads up) low levels of raw material to supervisory staff.</li> <li>Develops good working knowledge of all batch making and packaging processes.</li> <li>Maintains a good working relationship with Quality Control.</li> <li>Must be capable of logical structuring of batch making process, particularly optimizing the switchover sequence/needs of production.</li> <li>Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents, and material shortages to the Production Supervisor.</li> <li>Makes batches and operates packaging equipment efficiently. Capable of handling scanner & basic computer operations.</li> <li>When there is downtime on his line, proceed to line assigned to him by the Production Supervisor for further training or operation.</li> </ul>The above description identifies the primary duties pertaining to this position.
