<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b> <br> <br> <strong>Specific Requirements:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Stages and prepares all raw materials associated with production batches.</li> <li>Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making area and proper storage of batch area inventories.</li> <li>Communicates low levels of raw materials to the Plant Supervisor.</li> <li>Develops a thorough knowledge of raw material storage tanks, valving and piping, their contents, actuation and directions of flow.</li> <li>Maintains a good working relationship with Quality Control.</li> <li>Must be capable of logical structuring of the batch making process, particularly optimization of mixer usage and efficiency.</li> <li>Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunction, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents and material shortages immediately to the Production Supervisor.</li> <li>Acknowledges and understands the hazards and safety precautions required for working with inorganic metal-based powdered pigments and modifies work and hygiene practices accordingly.</li> </ul> <br>The above description identifies only the primary duties pertaining to this position. Additional tasks are performed, as required, and do not significantly alter this description.<br> <br> <strong>Background Requirements:</strong> <br> <br> <ul> <li>High School Diploma with some college level chemistry preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years prior related experience or 1 year experience as a production batch maker.</li> <li>Must pass standard eye exam (corrected or uncorrected) and must pass standard color-tone testing.</li> <li>Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency.</li> </ul> <strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Lifting up to 50 pounds.</li> <li>Stooping, bending, squatting up to 50% of the time.</li> <li>Standing and walking up to 90% of the time.</li> <li>Sitting - None.</li> </ul> <strong>Benefits:</strong> 401k w/ company match after 6 months, Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, flexible schedule, life insurance, tuition reimbursement<br> <br> <b>ABOUT US</b> <br> <br> DO WE HAVE WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR?
