<b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b> <br> <br> <strong>Specific Requirements:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Stages and prepares all raw materials associated with production batches.</li> <li>Maintains orderliness and cleanliness in batch making area and proper storage of batch area inventories.</li> <li>Communicates low levels of raw materials to the Plant Supervisor.</li> <li>Develops a thorough knowledge of raw material storage tanks, valving and piping, their contents, actuation and directions of flow.</li> <li>Maintains a good working relationship with Quality Control.</li> <li>Must be capable of logical structuring of the batch making process, particularly optimization of mixer usage and efficiency.</li> <li>Reports all spills and leaks, equipment malfunction, safety hazards, accidents, near-miss accidents and material shortages immediately to the Production Supervisor.</li> <li>Acknowledges and understands the hazards and safety precautions required for working with inorganic metal-based powdered pigments and modifies work and hygiene practices accordingly.</li> </ul> <br>The above description identifies only the primary duties pertaining to this position.
